Marketing Intern Job Description

Living Peace, LLC is New England’s largest professional organizing company and specializes in residential and small office organizing services. We are happy to provide interns a chance to learn about the marketing needs and operations of a small service business. We have a committed and energetic team, and we hope to find interns who will be enthusiastic about our mission and eager to learn new skills.

Position responsibilities may include:

 

  • Manage layout for 2 monthly email newsletters
  • Create/Update flyers to promote upcoming events
  • Edit, publish, and occasionally write blog posts using our Drupal website content manager
  • Manage, promote, & contribute to our Facebook page
  • Record, edit, publish, and promote our weekly video blog posts
  • Develop marketing strategies for training programs & educational products
  • Improve and implement social media and internet marketing strategies

Hours & Commitment

Minimum 8 hrs/wk. Responsibilities can be scaled appropriately if you are looking for a more intense full-time internship opportunity. Prefer that candidates would be available to attend weekly staff meetings on Fridays from 2-4pm. Minimum of 3-month commitment required. MUST HAVE PERSONAL COMPUTER, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), AND INTERNET ACCESS.

Compensation

UNPAID INTERNSHIP- Will complete any paperwork required by your school or internship program and/or provide a letter of recommendation for candidates that complete their assigned responsibilities professionally and successfully.
